Great weekend at PFI lots learnt as it was my first race back since I broke my collarbone in Le Mans.

This put me on pole for the final taking the lead from the start, but soon got overtaken. I was not really fast enough but lots learnt about the kart.
Looking forward to next weekend for R2 at PFI.

Not the start and end of the weekend we were expecting at Le Mans.

On Tuesday I had been on the pace all day despite never driving the all new synergy envy kart or the track before. We made changes throughout the day making the kart better and better. In the last practice session on Tuesday I was going past the pit Lane exit and there was a group of karts coming onto the track, I was going at full speed so I couldn’t avoid hitting one of them and I rolled the kart.

My new @freemuk suit and @stefandiresta painted helmet both did there job. Although it was a big roll and slide upside down, only sustained a broken collarbone and gashed hand and fingers. Big thanks to @jakewalker83 for immaculately preparing my new synergy envy and @shox_performance for giving me the engines to do a great job. @fusion_motorsport for all the help and support over the day.

I started P1 for the final taking the lead early on, but Kit overtook me with 3 minutes to go. I managed to overtake him on the last lap, but he regained the position on the last third of the lap.
